Bryan ISD will “Be The One” for Batrop ISD during their time of need following the devstating fires in their community.

As a result of the fires in Bastrop County more than 1,700 homes were destroyed. Many Bastrop ISD employees and students lost their homes and possessions.

In an effort to help with the financial loss, Bryan ISD is raising funds to donate to Bastrop ISD through a monetary donation and the purchase of gift cards for employees and students affected by the fire. Student Council members are heading up the efforts for the Bryan High campus.

During all lunches, Student Council members will be collecting change and selling cut-out paper Bs, with all benefits going towards Bastrop schools. Students will be able to buy the paper Bs for $.50 and write words of encouragment on them. Collection efforts will begin Friday, September 16 and extend through Friday, September 23. No contribution is too small.
