The JV Blue Football team lost their game by a score of 30-23 against Killeen Ellison.
On the offensive, Derrick Smith made a touchdown with a 25 yard pass and Ryan Way completed a 14 yard pass to Keyone Johnson. Smith completed a 2 yard run for a touchdown and Corey Johnson kicked 3 extra points. On defense, Alex Garcia caught the ball for an interception while DJ McCoy earned a sack for a safety and made an interception. Stephon Ellis recorded an interception and a fumble recovery. Kevin Fonville also made an interception.
The JV Silver team lost to Killeen Ellison with a 20-13 score.
Logan Pottburg scored a 28 yard run touchdown. Pottburg then passed the ball to Mark Garcia-Rhodes with a 4 yard pass. On the defensive, Brock Cuerington made a fumble recovery
Both teams will play on Thursday, September 29 against Pflugerville.
