The volleyball team won the Bronze bracket of the Spring Branch volleyball tournament Saturday by beating Magnolia West 25-27, 25-21, 25-21 and Cy-Springs 25-14, 25-9.
Reagan Boenker led the Vikings with 16 kills, 3 aces, and 11 digs. Jessica Pfeffer had 9 kills and 8 digs. Abby Cullen had 26 assists and 5 service aces. In the second match, Boenker led the Vikings with 8 kills and 5 digs. Emily Carroll had 5 service aces. The team’s record improved to 9-4.
During the second day of the tournament the volleyball team defeated Klein 25-15,14-25, 25-20. Boenker led the Vikings with 17 kills and 11 digs. Pfeffer had 10 kills and 9 digs. Brittney Jones had 3 aces, and Emily Carroll had 2. Cullen had 29 assists, and Brittany Little had 14 digs.
