FFA students receive accolades at invitationals, local competition

McClennan FFA Invitational
Floriculture Team – 15th out of 97
Senior Jerry Ramirez – 5th out of 350

Tarleton FFA Invitational
Ramirez placed 7th out of 412 contestants in Floriculture
Junior Makayla Cruz placed 14th out of 630 contestants

The following students participated in the Brazos County Youth Livestock Show and Rodeo:
Makayla Cruz – 1st in class of heifers and Grand Champion British heifer
Leisa Drgac – goat
Morgan Payne – pig
Payton Thomsen – 2nd in her heifer class and she showed a pen of turkeys
