Members of Viking Theatre Troupe #3463 traveled to Dallas for the State Thespian Convention. While there students we able to experience workshops with professional actors, directors, and stage managers as well as a private concert with composer/lyricist Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party, The Addams Family).

At convention members of troupe #3463 entered acting and technical performance competitions. Viking Theatre had 4 performances entries qualify for National Competition this summer in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Bryan High showcased a top 24 State Performer. On the last day of conference they invite the top scorers out of the 2000 entries and Kathryn Svatek was a finalist for solo musical theatre.

National Thespian Competition is hosted in Lincoln Nebraska, June 22-26th.
