Track girls advance to area
The girls’ track team finished 4th overall and several students qualified for area.
1st place: In the 4 x 100 (Kaitlyn Harris, Chahnyce Foster, Quinteria Johnson, Jamie Kennedy) – 47.5*
1st place: In the 4 x 200 (Kailtyn Harris, Chahnyce Foster, Audrey Batten, Jamie Kennedy) – 142.01*
2nd place: Jamie Kennedy in the 200 – 25.01
2nd place: Miranda Golden in the 300 hurdles – 46.7
4th place: Chahnyce Foster in the 100 – 12.2
2nd place: Chassidy Rusk in shotput – 38′ 3 3/4″
3rd place tie: Jamie Kennedy and Lorenzia Nowlin in the high jump – 5′
