Varsity volleyball takes Brahmas in three sets
The Lady Viking volleyball teams faced off against the Bellville Brahmas at home Tuesday night.
The Freshman B team fell short 14-25, 8-25. The Freshman A team was defeated 19-25, 16-25.
The Junior Varsity team beat the Brahmas in two sets 25-17, 27-25.
The Varsity team won in 3 sets, 25-16, 25-21, and 27-25. Hannah Eike earned 23 kills, 2 aces, and 19 assists. Katie Scott added 21 assists and 4 digs, Madelyn Luera had 13 digs and 4 aces, and Ashton Edwards contributed another 8 kills.
The Lady Vikings will host their last match before district on Friday, Sept. 4 against Killeen Ellison with Freshman and JV beginning at 5pm.
