Freshman Silver ends season on top

The Freshman Silver football team won their game last night 19-0 against Temple.

Freshman Isaiah Vasquez scored a touchdown with a 4 yard run, freshman Arthur Mooring made an interception and ran for 75 yards for another 6, and freshman Trevor Russ scored a touchdown with a 30 yard run. Three more interceptions were made added during the game, one by freshman Byron Williams, and another two by freshman Adrian Johnson.

The Freshmen Blue team fell to Temple by a score of 28-40.

Freshman Darius Ross scored 4 touchdowns with 1, 2, 8 and 56 yard runs and freshman Holt Van Etten had a perfect night, going 4/4 on extra point attempts.

The JV team fell to Temple with a final score of 7-40. The team finished the season 4-6 overall and 1-6 in district play.

On offense, junior Ryan Way ran for a 7 yard touchdown and sophomore Corey Johnson scored on the point after attempt.

Sophomore Coulter Dewitt was the defensive standout of the game.
