After Waller cut the lead in half in the top of the 2nd, the Lady Vikings responded with 2 more runs. Junior Taylor Canales scored on a squeeze bunt by Russell and then Russell scored on another squeeze by junior Reagan Boenker.

Waller earned another run in the top of the 4th, and then the Lady Vikes broke the game open with 5 in the bottom of the 4th. Canales scored on a single by Russell. Senior Meagan Kraatz and Russell cam in on a squeeze by Boenker and Jones doubled to score Boenker. Junior Morgan Isbell singled up the middle to score Jones.

Senior Hannah Parker pitched a complete game, striking out 5.

The girls play again Friday during the next round of the BCS tournament against Burleson Centennial at 1:40 and Conroe Oak Ridge at 5:00.
