The Advanced Technical Theatre class competed in the UIL Theatrical Design Contest for the first time this year. The contest consisted of four parts: Theatre Marketing, Costume Design, Set Design, and Makeup Design.
Although the group entry did not advance to State, senior Cain Miller’s Theatrical Marketing Design received an Honorable Mention and will be on display at the State UIL One Act Play competition in May.
Cain created a theatrical poster, program, press release, and a marketing budget for a theoretical production of Moliere’s Tartuffe.
