The Bryan Viking Freshman Football Team played host to Huntsville Thursday night at Merrill Green Stadium.

The Viking Silver Team beat Huntsville 47-0. Scoring plays for the Vikings came from: John Koontz, who had 2 touchdown runs from 42 yards and then 4 yards. Justin Obannon also had 2 touchdowns from 40 yards and 4 yards. Jadrien Collins also had 2 touchdowns, the first from 20 yards out and the other from 15 yards. Defensive End Donnie Childs had an Interception for a Touchdown from 20 yards out.

The Viking Blue Team had an exciting come from behind win to beat Huntsville 21-20. Scoring plays for the Vikings came from: Quarterback Kolby Kubichek, who ran for a 5 yard Touchdown, and then threw for 2 touchdowns, the first a 48 yard TD pass to Austin Lawson, the second to Javon Jefferson for a 24 yard Strike. The game winning play came from Kicker Angel Quiroga.

The Viking Freshman Team will play A&M Consolidated next Thursday night, October 9th, at A&M Consolidated Stadium. Silver Game starts at 5, the Blue game starts immediately afterwards.
