On Saturday, January 10, the UIL Academic team competed at an invitational meet at College Station High School, earning top honors across multiple events.
The journalism team finished first overall, sweeping first place in all five journalism events.

Outside journalism, Max Kalil also placed 6th in accounting and 3rd in current issues and events, while Houston Hunt earned 2nd in current issues and events.
In science, Erika Vitha placed 4th, and Alfredo Rojas placed 6th overall and 1st in the biology portion.
In spelling and vocabulary, Ruthie DeLeon placed 4th, and Hannah Cockerham placed 6th.
In ready writing, Ryan Hammons placed 5th, and Colin West placed 6th.
In literary criticism, Colin West placed 3rd, and Katherine Keyser placed 4th.
In computer science, Graer Styne placed 3rd, Leader Gaston-Quick placed 4th, and Katherine Keyser placed 5th.
