In their first game of the season, the JV Blue Football team came away with a 22-21 win against Clear Springs. The JV Silver team fell to Clear Springs in a final score of 24-12.

In the JV Blue game, Derrick Smith scored on a three yard touchdown run and a two-point conversion run. Junior Ryan Way ran a 17-yard touchdown and threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Keyone Johnson. Cory Johnson scored the extra point twice. Defensively, Darius McCoy and Jacob Davis both recovered fumbles and Chris Delaney made an interception. The defense was also able to stop Clear Springs on 4 and 1 at the 5 yard line.

JV Blue plays next at Round Rock McNeil on Thursday, September 8 at 7:00 P.M.

For JV Silver, Treven Fusilier made an eight yard touchdown run and Carlos Lucio recovered a fumble for a forty-five yard touchdown return. Defensively, Ronald Gibbs and Anthony Salinas both made interceptions.

JV Silver plays next at Round Rock McNeil on Thursday, September 8 at 5:00 P.M.
