Artwork by both Lauren Bernal and Alex Salazar was chosen by Congressman Bill Flores as runners-up for this year’s Congressional Art Competition.
The Congressman will honor them at a special reception in Waco this coming Monday. Their pieces will then remain at the Martin Museum in Waco for the remainder of the month in a special exhibit honoring all of the finalists of this year’s competition. Afterwards, Lauren’s piece will be displayed in the Congressman’s Austin office for the next year and Alex’s in the DC office.
