Automotive team advances to state competition
The automotive team competed in the Skills USA District 7 Automotive contest last weekend where they won the following awards:
Automotive Service Contest
1st place – Roland John Heritage
2nd place – Jason Goin
3rd place – Joseph Gonzales
Diesel Engine Contest
1st place – Michael Mata
Automotive Technology Quiz Bowl Team
2nd place – Joseph Gonzales, Roland John Heritage, Michael Mata, Haley Rios, and Jason Goin
Everyone advanced to the state competition the first week of April.
