The color guard competed in a preliminary competition at the Winter Guard International Austin Regional on Saturday at Lehman High School where they earned a spot in the finals competition held that evening. This is the fourth year in a row that the team has been an Austin Regional finalist.
Currently they are ranked 16th in the nation out of teams that have competed so far and that are attending the World Championship competition to be held in Ohio in April.
The color guard will be hosting the Texas Color Guard Circuit competition this Saturday. They will perform at 4:15 pm in Viking Gym. Admission is $8 and all proceeds go toward the trip to Ohio. There will also be 53 other indoor color guard and percussion teams competing this weekend.
