The softball team made quick work of Killeen-Shoemaker on Tuesday in the final regular season home game by defeating the Grey Wolves 15-0 in 4 innings. With the win the Lady Vikings remain in a 3 way tie for first with Consol and Temple.
Junior Brittney Jones picked up her 7th win of the season and also lead the offense with a 3 hit night. With the win the Lady Vikings improved to 24-5 and 11-2 in district play.
The Lady Vikings will look to clinch a share of the district championship on Friday as they travel to Consol for a 7pm game.
Last Friday the girls defeated Harker Heights 19-3. Sophomore Rebecca Peirce picked up her 5th win of the season and senior Hannah Parker and sophomore Erica Russell both hit home runs.
