Second annual Viking Wall of Honor nominations requested

The Viking Wall of Honor is seeking nominations for the second annual award. The goal of the award is to honor and acknowledge employees who have served Bryan High School and made an impact on the students and school.

Volleyball team earns coach 500th win

A Message from the Principal…

We have completed the first semester of the 2011-2012 school year! As we begin our second semester we must continue to share with you what a rewarding experience this year has been! We have accomplished many things here at BRYAN HIGH SCHOOL this year!

NSBE to hold first meeting

Students who are interested in engineering, math and science are encouraged to join the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) on Jan 24 at 4:00 or Jan 25 at 8:00 in room 3238.

Refreshments will be served at all after school meetings. All students welcome regardless of race.

New scholarships, test fee waivers available

Several scholarships are available to college-bound students to apply for this fall, and for students looking to take the SAT or ACT, test fee waivers are available in the GO Center.

Student, Class Councils Officers Announced

After elections over the past two weeks, new officers assumed their duties within the Student Body, Junior and Senior Class Councils.

2011 yearbooks available for pick-up

The 2011 yearbooks are available for pick-up in room 6160 before school, after school or during lunch. If you were unable to order a book last year, there are still a few books available for $75 each. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Dominy, 979-209-2580.

Principals, Advisors to oversee grade levels

For the 2011-2012 school year, Assistant Principals and Academic Advisors will be assigned students based on grade level instead of by alphabetical order. With this change, the assistant principals and academic advisors will also be moved to the same offices.
