Students recognized as Commended Students for National Merit Scholarship Corporation

The top 3-4% of students are recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation as commended students. Seniors Brandon Garza, Shannon Keyser, Caleb Peterson, Trey Weltens, and Lauryn Woods earned recognition as National Merit Commended students this year. They finished in the top 50,000 out of 1.5 million students taking the PSAT.

Senior earns national recognition for PSAT scores

Senior Nathan Phillips was recognized as a National Merit Commended Student earlier this year for his PSAT scores during his junior year. More than 1.6 million students took the PSAT last year, placing Nathan in the top 50,000 students in the nation.

PSAT free for all 10th grade student

Octboer 17, the PSAT will be given at Bryan High, all 10th grade students will automatically be registered for the PSAT for FREE. 9th and 11th grade student may register for the test in the Silver Cafeteria during their lunch period from Sept. 10-21.
