The JV Blue Football team won their game by a score of 27-22 against College Park.
Ryan Way scored the first touchdown with a 7 yard run. Way then threw to Steven Savala for a 30 yard touchdown completion. Tavion Walton made a 5 yard touchdown run and Derrick Smith sealed the win with a 32 yard run for another 6. Corey Johnson kicked 3 successful extra points.
Defensively Zac Spicker recovered a fumble to help the offense keep control.
JV Blue plays next at Killeen Ellison on Thursday, September 22 at 5:00 P.M.
The JV Silver team fell to College Park in a 34-27 defeat.
Logan Pottburg made a 48 yard pass to Devante Jones. Alex Harris then made a touchdown with a 99 yard kickoff return. Pottburg scored on a 1 yard touchdown run, and threw a 13 yard pass to to Harris for another touchdown. Anthony Salinas scored 3 extra points, and defensively, Cameron Conrad blocked an extra point.
